A Design and Implementation of a New Control Based on Petri Nets for Three Phase PWM-Rectifier

This article introduces a novel and effective diagram based on direct instantaneous power control (DPC) of PWM-controlled rectifier connected to the grid without switching table. An optimum vector PWM rectifier's input voltage, which depends states determined by Petri nets controller, is adopted. approach limits detection errors reactive active powers, maintains DC bus voltage at reference level, ensures current close sinusoidal wave, guaranteeing operation unit factor. The tracking powers angular position are used as variables for proposed then selects best converter transition net. significant advantages DPC compared traditional tables that hysteresis comparators not required, classical regulation achieved in all sectors. Simulation testing findings demonstrated excellent performance, supporting viability suggested using nets.
